Blowing bubbles at a protest. Yup, that's assault...

You know, I have the utmost respect for the police officers who make the various cities and towns around the world a safer place.  But <del>every once in a while</del>, we come across some egotistical, power tripping, asshole who feels he <em>is</em> the law.  Exhibit A: Officer Bubbles -- A harmless G20 protest and one young girl blowing some bubbles took a serious turn for the worst when Officer Bubbles (Adam Josephs) threatened to arrest the young woman for assault.  Yes, folks.  <em>Assault</em> for god damn bubbles.  Realizing Bubbles was full of shit, she continued on with her peaceful protest, which in turn led to her being 'cuffed and hauled away.
...But that was months ago.  The the incident, the video, and the various comments left by YouTube viewers were all but forgotten.  That is, until Officer Bubbles performed his internet patrol and stumbled upon the video.  After seeing an oh so offensive and damaging comment, he decided it was his sworn duty to sue not only Google, but also legally require them to turn over the information of 24 commenters of the movie.  Specifically, the oh so offensive comment that started it all...
officer bubbles probably looks at himself in the mirror a lot.
Yup, that's it.  Stupid.  Simply, stupid.  It's people like this who give police a bad name, making them look like senseless idiots and overpowering bullies.  Thankfully, the person who left the comment above, Pussymcfats, voiced his story in the Toronto Star</a> so that the rest of the world can see the utter lack of common sense and stupidity of Officer Bubbles.
For now, we'll sit back and watch as this ridiculous waste of government resources winds its way through the courts.  If you're feeling especially adventurous, hop inside to check out the video, which I have dubbed "The Wrath of Bubbles"...
